Equinox Awarded Contract to Build Clearance Tracking Module for BC Transmission Corporation
Vancouver, B.C. - August 04, 2004
Equinox Software Design is pleased to announce that they have been awarded a contract by the British Columbia Transmission Corporation (BCTC) to integrate a Clearance Tracking module into their Control Room Operations Window system. The new module will extend the Control Room Operations Window logging functions to support specific business processes for tagging, recloser status changes, and clearance tracking. It will also provide streamlined processes for requesting and approving work permits for Live Line work.
The Control Room Operations Window is an industry-leading solution that supports key electric system operations and reliability processes including planning, scheduling, logging, notification, reporting, and problem resolution. The new module extends Equinox's logging solution, which is considered to be the most comprehensive electric system dispatch logging system available in the industry.
